I used to be a psychologist. I didn’t dream of being one as a kid or even an adolescent and scoffed at the suggestion that I might study it at university. Until I enrolled and was completely riveted. Whilst I don’t currently practise, looking back, it makes complete sense that I “accidentally” stumbled down the path I did. To my mind, understanding what motivates humans to behave as they do is, simply, fascinating.
These days, I’m mostly Mum to two school-aged children. I do other things here and there for a crust. Having a go at writing has beckoned for some time. So here goes. To be sure, this is not an advice column. It’s a blog about ideas. It’s personal and a little bit serious too. I can only hope I might sometimes be seriously funny. I cherish funny. Join me in my musings about life and love from a psychologically-interested perspective.
